Her journey, rooted in a dedication to defending human rights, took an unexpected turn during her first year in law school with the tragic Beirut explosion. In the midst of chaos, Marina found hope and purpose, founding Medonations, which quickly evolved into a global force for positive change.

Despite the challenges of balancing triple majors, leading an NGO, and teaching, Marina's unwavering determination has been a guiding light. Her commitment to education, resilience in adversity, and tireless efforts in providing medical assistance showcase her embodiment of the spirit of the 'Women of Influence Award.'

In her role as Ambassador of Excellence, Marina El Khawand will continue to exemplify the values of compassion, dedication, and resilience, furthering the Global Excellence Assembly's mission to create positive change on a global scale.
